Return Policy
Chivrealzod provides personal consultations on computer assembly. This policy explains how we handle cancellations and refunds for our consultation services. Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (New Zealand) are not excluded by this policy.
General legal requirements
Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, our consultation services must be of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and provided with reasonable care and skill. If we fail to meet these guarantees, you may have rights to a remedy. This policy works alongside those statutory rights.
Consultation services
We do not sell hardware. Our services are advisory: planning sessions, part selection advice, and guided assembly. If you need to cancel or reschedule a consultation, please contact us as soon as possible.
Order cancellation policy
You may cancel a booked consultation before it takes place. Cancellations with at least 48 hours notice will generally qualify for a full refund or rescheduling. Cancellations with less notice may be subject to a partial charge depending on circumstances.
Return period
For consultation services, there is no physical return. Refund requests for cancelled or uncompleted sessions should be made within 14 days of the scheduled consultation date. For services that have not met the Consumer Guarantees, you may have longer statutory rights.
Return conditions
Refunds may be provided when:
- You cancel with sufficient notice (as set out above)
- We cancel a session and cannot offer a suitable alternative
- Our service fails to meet the guarantees under the Consumer Guarantees Act
Cost of return shipping
We do not sell physical products. Consultation services do not involve return shipping. If you have purchased hardware from a third party on our advice, any return shipping costs are determined by that retailer's policy.
Return process
- Contact us by email or in person to request a cancellation or refund
- Provide your name, booking details, and reason for the request
- We will confirm eligibility and process your refund where applicable
- Refunds will be made to the original payment method within 10 business days
Refund procedure
Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days. The funds will be returned to the payment method you used. Bank processing times may vary. We will notify you once the refund has been initiated.
Non-returnable items
Completed consultation sessions that have been fully delivered are generally not refundable. If you believe a completed session did not meet the Consumer Guarantees, contact us to discuss your options.
Hardware
Parts and components are purchased by you from third-party retailers. Returns or refunds for hardware must be handled with the retailer in accordance with their policy and the Consumer Guarantees Act.
